Who is CoreStrong: Foundations for?

Motivated women

If you’ve tried other core rehab program without success, or have tried to return to exercise only to have your symptoms return, then Core Foundations is for you.

Sometimes we get stuck in a place between healing and returning to our favorite sports. It may be from recurring pain and weakness, or simply because we don’t know where to start. Core Foundations will take you through 5 Phases of RE-turn to Play and help you rediscover the joy that the athlete in you has been missing.

Athletic Women

Core Foundations is a rehab and conditioning program designed for women who are wanting to return to their sport – either recreationally or competitively.

How you define “sport” is entirely up to you, but to me it involves an activity that you want to train for. It doesn’t matter if it’s been years since you’ve participated or you are returning after having a baby, we will be focusing on a specific training and performance goal.

Women Looking for a Tribe

Often when we are healing from an injury or are returning to our sport after baby, we feel disconnected from the training community we had before. Participants in Core Foundations should have a drive to re-establish their training tribe and want to encourage others!

The private Community group will be a place to support, inspire, and connect with other women in the group. We are a tribe of women who will build each other up in a non-judgemental space.

After the birth of my daughter, I suffered a pelvic floor prolapse. It was a devasting experience for me, mostly because I thought I was doomed to giving up all of the sports and activities that I have always loved.  When I looked around for program that could help me heal, I found that these were very lacking for the more athletic woman.

Since then, I've worked with postpartum women, middle age women, and even those in their 20s who are all complaining about the same thing - a weak core that keeps them from optimal performance. I decided to take my training as a Certified Athletic Trainer and 15 years experience working in sport medicine, and combine that with the education I've received in Women's Health to create a Functional Training Program for athletic women. 

Many women stop their rehab programs due to 2 main issues:

1. Not enough time

2. Having to give up their training

CoreStrong is different. I've designed this program for those of us with an athletic mindset, and who don't have the time to devote to hours of rehab.
